Staying on top of Homework during the Holiday Season!
Okay, no school for two weeks! Fantastic! What should I do first? Call my friends to party? Maybe I should get a job at the mall during the Christmas rush. Whatever you choose to do with your holiday, make sure you develop a plan that will show you what needs to still be done with regard to homework assignments. Staying organized is a stress reliever. Don’t put off those med cards till the last night of the holiday. Knowing that there are tons of medication cards to be made and chapters to be read can be overwhelming if you don’t make a plan. There is no ball and chain. You can still have a holiday and still complete all those assignments. Prioritize which assignment is going to take the longest. Maybe dividing it into smaller manageable pieces will work. Often when waiting in long holiday lines, you can pull out those flash cards and multitask. The important aspect to remember is that next holiday season you will be working as a licensed nurse and all this will be but a memory.
Have a happy safe and joyful holiday! erwjac

Am really thankful for making it through this year despite some ups and downs on the way, but all this will not have been done without the help of the high most,God.
I was worried at first about how to manage my time over the break but when I sat down and mapped it out, it feels like I can have a vacation and still be productive. I have decided to do homework first, a specified number of med cards a day, and then review of the homework and and powerpoints two days before returning to school. This way I will get it all done with time for fun and relaxation but also have the information fresh upon returning to school. My original thought was to get all the homework done ASAP so that I could have the break as free time, however, I realised that by doing that I would probably rush through the work and not focus as hard. All in all I feel much better with this plan and I think it will be beneficial. I wish everyone luck with their homework and I hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday break!!
Dear Reader,
I would like you let you know what I am thankful for this holiday season. First off, I am thankful for my lovely mother, who has raised me to be the better person that I am today. She has guided me through rough times and have always been there for me especially when there was no one else to count on. She was there when I needed a shoulder to cry on and was there when I was too drunk to drive. She has always been the best Mom and will always be.
I am thankful for having the chance to become a nurse. Being a nurse has risen to become my top priority and goal. Accomplishing the nursing program will provide my family security and also a sense of accomplishment that I must be able to finish.
I am thankful for a roof to live under, a meal for everyday, a car to take me around, and for the few bucks I have left in my wallet.
I am thankful for the money we’ve made for graduation with Pizza day.
I am thankful for the dollar for ten cup of noodles at Albertsons. I am thankful for great classmates. I am thankful for study groups. I am thankful for clues. And finally, I am very thankful.
